Information Collection
Pollen does not collect personal data for general analytics or profiling.
If you choose to search for pollen conditions or use your current location, the app sends the information needed to retrieve pollen data from its backend service. That information is used only to return the requested pollen forecast.
Location
If you allow location access, Pollen uses your device location to fetch nearby pollen information. Your location is not used for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, your notification preferences are used to schedule pollen alerts for you. Those preferences are used only for the alert feature.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Pollen does not see or store your payment details.
To manage subscription entitlements across devices, Pollen uses RevenueCat as a subscription processor. RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase events and a non-identifying device/app identifier so it can determine your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or Apple ID. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.
Apple Search Ads Attribution
To measure Apple Search Ads performance, Pollen may send an Apple-provided attribution token to RevenueCat on supported iOS devices. RevenueCat uses that token to ask Apple whether the install came from an Apple Search Ads campaign and to measure subscription performance by campaign. This is not used to show personalized ads, and Pollen does not use it to track you across apps, websites, or services.
Tracking
Pollen does not track users across apps, websites, or services.
